If you buy it physical, you just don't need to download the 49.99 GB, you still have to install that 49.99 GB, just from your disk.

Yeah, space is not an issue, I have 6TB free.

I'm just not wasting bandwidth downloading 50GB when I can just install it from a disc.

What is that like 7 DVDS?

Roughly how big will TitanFall be? I'd like to know if I want to download or get the CD

"about 21GB of download and 48GB installed."

Well ain't that horsefeces. Did they feel the need to uncompress everything before allowing people to preload things?

And apparently people who have the beta can play now if they still have the beta on their PC? Not exactly sure how that works.

Damn, that is such a fat download. Wonder if my ISP will shutdown if I try and install it twice.

Not sure but the bulk of the size comes form 6 VPK files, tried to uncompress them with GCFScape but crashes, but probably due to one being 14GB lol.

From the looks of the directory it supports a 64 bit Client, along with Direct X11 support.

Based on my bandwidth monitor, Origin downloaded less than like, 18GB to get the full game. I'm sitting at 19GB for the day and that's including downloading Titanfall, watching about an hour of YouTube videos, and Steam updating a couple hundred MB worth of games.

They could probably squeeze it on like 4 DL-DVDs,

So the game doesn't take up 50 gigs then?

No, it takes up the full 50GB (49.9GB on the HDD right now). But Origin downloads a compressed version first and then unpacks the files to save bandwidth and speed up the download/install.

The game takes up 50 once it's uncompressed

That's still way too big for that game. Also that's some inane compression
