So question about a laptop purchase

Sooo really dumb question. I have a great gaming desktop, but lately ive been forced to use a laptop a lot more than I like, which means no PC games for me on this 4 year old ancient toshiba.

Any decent laptops that can run some games (like company of heroes, skyrim, fallout new vegas, and a few other games from like 2011-2012) on maybe medium? Thing is id rather not 1080p. For some reason it really bugs my eyes on laptops. Anyways im looking on newegg only ( have some store credit). Not looking to spend much either, $750 tops. How would this be? If not any recommendations? And please dont say lenovo y500 or y510p. I bought that before, and got 5 laptops that busted within 3 months

Your link didn't work, so I couldn't tell you how that laptop is.

Your budget is too low if you want to be running games like that on a laptop

Yeah, $750 is a bit low for a good gaming laptop. Look at the Asus G series. The older G73 will run the games you want easily at medium or high. They did make it in a 1600x900 model. I currentyl have a G750, but that is above your budget, and is 1080p, which I think looks great.

Well, its not really going to be used as a gaming machine primarily. I just want the ability to play some of those games, even on low for a little bit of a time if I can. But thats my max budget on this. I was going to go up to $1200 but decided that its clearly not worth it for me. So, any suggestions?

Id rather a 1366x768 monitor on my laptop to be honest. Im basically blind in one eye, and the other eye is not so great. So my visualizing detail on a game isnt that high. Thats why I said I dont really care if it runs at low. I figure I can maybe get away with spending a lot less, especially because the games would be running at a much lower resolution. As long as they run, and can play around 30fps even on low, Ill be happy until I can get back to gaming on my gaming desktop. But for now, I dont feel the need to break the budget, nor go all in on a full blown gaming laptop just for the extra visual detail im going to have a very hard time seeing anyways.

I'm not familiar with amd, so can't comment on their cards, but to play most modern games at good settings, you need a 760 at minimum. Anything lower isn't meant for gaming.

1200 will get you medium on that stuff, maybe even high. Definitely high if you're on a tiny 1366 laptop.

Well $1200 isnt happening. $750 max. Some of the youtube videos if seen show a card similiar to that running games like bf3 on medium so I cant imagine it would run that bad.
