I don't know about SSDs, but if they're anything like Kingston's flash drives, they're durable. I've had a flash drive or two go though the wash and work.

I bought and installed that SSD in my wifes computer and it works perfectly fine. I just wanted an SSD that would improve her boot times and it does with no issues. However it looks like Jewel from Kingston support had to do some damage control after some reviewers got their jimmies rustled with sub par benchmark performance. Not sure who to believe.

I'd go for a Crucial M500 personally.

$129 is incredibly cheap for a 240 GB drive. I'm going for that one.

Beware that SSD:

There's probably a reason it's so cheap.
