There are zombies, and you shoot them.

There, you now know the entire story of L4D1. L4D2 too, for that matter.

Don't buy L4D1. L4D2 comes with the whole first game.

Be careful if you aren't playing with friends. L4D2 has some sort of strange competitive community even amongst casual coop games.

There's even a mutation added to L4D2 to make items and specials only spawn L4D1 style.

Does it also change it so you can melee over and over again instead of slowing down after a few hits? Because that would excite me.
__WooBarb__ : Yes. Your computer does not start. The heatsink is definately dead.

I've never actually played the mutation so I can't say sorry.

You do understand how Left 4 Dead works when it comes to campaigns right?

Why do you think i'm asking questions?

Give him a few minutes, hopefully he figures it out by then.

It's one of my favorite multiplayer games of all time, get used to the mechanics before going straight into VS, as competitively there is a steep learning curve

I am one of the few people who like the first game more than the 2nd. I didn't like the changes L4D2 did to the original game's campaigns, and the AI is horrible compared to the first game. The levels in the first game is loads better.

I love the modded co-op servers. Nothing more fun and hilarious than 10-16 players blasting through levels with special tanks and stuff. Look for mgftw for a create co-op server.
