I haven't tried this one specifically yet, but I typically hit around 110-120 or so... I'm not the fastest in the world, but plenty fast for my needs, and I can hammer out long papers in very little time.

I usually do better. 1 minute is long time and random words is annoying doesn't flow as nice.

It's just random words? That sucks... that tends to slow people down since it doesn't flow like proper sentences would.

Meh, did 99 (514 strokes). Could easily do better if I try again, but I don't put all that much into a simple test like this.

Depending what you are doing, it won't always matter to that extreme. I mean, I'm not often copying things word-for-word from something like that, and other times I have to take time to think of what I am doing vs hammering away non-stop.

Anyhow used to be a lot faster during the days when I spent loads of time instant messaging, chatting, and playing old MMOs. Now I spend much less time messaging, voice-chat in games, and less 'busy work' homework, so it has certainly fell. I also suffer from failing while typing a lot. I'll make very very liberal use of the backspace key as my sausages cram into the key next door.
