Only games I do not use my pad on are FPS, RTS, and simulation games.

I use controller on emulators and some games, like FIFA.

I use it for games that need it, like Dark Souls. If I can play with M&K, I do it.

Only for certain games, like action arcade games (Dust: An Elysian Tale, etc) or stuff like Arkham City. 90% of the time I'm using m/kb.

I only use my 360 controller for third person games or platforming. Mouse and keyboard for FPS's and RTS's obviously.

I use a USB converter for PlayStation controllers with a Dual Shock 2.

I use a 360 Airflow for platformers, shmups, and 3rd person action. For everything else, I use a keyboard and trackball.
