After learning that it's basically a trojan, I'd like Motioninjoy off of my computer. However, uninstalling it by normal means supposedly doesn't remove it entirely. Will reinstalling Windows do the trick or is there something else I'll have to do?

It's not a trojan. What are you talking about?

It IS a buggy set of software and drivers which in most respects is outdone by the more recent SCP drivers, but uninstalling it shouldn't give you any grief.

But anyway, re-installing your OS gets rid of ALL programs. You get a fresh registry. So, yes, that will remove all programs you've installed, including MotionInJoy.

It's does have issues. What you want to do is set up the controller using MJ, then set up BetterDS and use that instead and never open up MJ anymore.

Motioninjoy phones to a Chinese IP.

Stop shilling for that crappy software.

Motioninjoy is indeed one of the worst programs I've had the unfortunate opportunity to use, however it's not a trojan.

And yes, reinstalling windows should get rid of it.
