Titanfall knew what it was doing with the small team sizes

Heaven forbid they allow map making and custom servers so the players can decide themselves.

I wasn't aware that you could simply decide the best balance for the game.

I agree 100%. This is one of the most chaotic shooters I've played and there always seems like there is something going on. Rarely ever is there any down time. Which is crazy, because the maps are relatively large. This proves that having an insanely large player count does not always make a better game. The developer really knew what they were doing.

No one is forcing you to play it. Find a different server. Since when was having more options a bad thing?

The game is pure chaos with 12 players because the objective points and balance is just right and considering you can have a.i controlled Titans that are capable of holding their own you technically have more than 6 enemies to worry about. I know my auto Titan gets at least a couple of kills before it dies almost every time I leave it alone.

Yep, someone pointed that out on the Titanfall board. It's becoming a "pro" strategy that if your team has Titans out but other team doesn't, you guys put them on auto-pilot and stay on the ground until the other team starts dropping Titans too.

I don't own the full game but in the Beta I dropped a Titan literally as soon as one match started via burn card. I put it on AI and just let it go. It never went down and got more kills than I did lol.

Titanfall didn't know what it was doing because it is not sentient.

COD4 maps weren't designed for 32-64 people but if some people wanted to do that on a server, it didn't bother/affect me.

The players are generally terrible at making good decisions.
