How's the GeForce 860M?

I've been seeing it in some pretty cheap laptops.

Main reason why I'm asking about it is I'm looking to be able to play titanfall at high to max settings. I'll probably play guild wars 2, League of legends and the elder scrolls online all at high to max settings of course.

It should be just fine for Titanfall according to that.

it's all right, 50 fps on bioshock, 14 fps on metro: ll (game is the worst optimized pos I've played, so idk how accurate it would be to determine how "good" a gpu is), so it should be alright for titanfall, game is nothing to write home about.

It won't max it but should run on high settings at 1080p. Its about the same as a 765-770m.

Ah I see. Well then looks like a we have a winner. MSI came out with some new laptops and I'll probably get the $1299 one

pardon my asking, but if you have 1300 bucks to spend why not just build a pc yourself? it's not that hard, there are plenty of "how to" videos on youtube and for 1300 bucks that pc would smoke that laptop.

If you can spend an extra $100 you can get one with a gtx 870m. The 860m should be good enough to run games these days but couldn't hurt to get something a bit more powerful. Supposedly it's about 35% more powerful than the 860m.

Because you can't put your desktop, monitor, and keyboard in a backpack.

Were you tryin to max Metro Last Light with that s*** ass card? Try lowering the settings. My buddy beat Metro LL with a GT 640 (desktop card) and got playable (for him) framerates on lower settings @ 720p.

Metro LL is decently optimized. I take it you never played 2033? Super unoptimized maxed, but more than playable with a couple settings knocked down.
