Are there ANY controller calibration tools that actually work in-game?

I'm using a Wii U Pro + Mayflash's adapter and the right stick registers its center point a little off to the right, enough that the camera will turn on its own if the dead zones are too low.

The Windows calibration tools for 360 or D-input pads are useless, as their calibrations don't even register in modern games.

I've tried DXTweak and a few other programs and, even though the calibration results are far better, there's still no result in game.

Are there any programs or methods to reset center points that actually work? DXTweak is perfect for what I need, but it only applies to emulators (which may already have calibration options) and not my Steam collection, which is where I really need it.

You'd think on a platform that prides itself on customization and extensive options that there would be a clear fix for things like this...

That doesn't really solve anything, since many 360 users have the same calibration problems. Based on my experiences with the two, the Wii U Pro has far better build quality and I prefer the button layout and D-pad.

Just because a platform prides itself on options and customization, doesn't necessarily mean someone's bothered to get an inferior input method to work. Part of this freedom relies on you being knowledgeable enough to tweak things yourself.

You could try joy2key or xpadder maybe, but that's about all I can think of for you.

This brings me to the other great thing about PC gaming- the smug and condescending community. Thanks for the tips.

God forbid someone implies you might have to learn a certain skillset to get the most out of a hobby.
