Between extra cards, foils and holiday cards I probably made $50 so far and I still have like 200 cards in my inventory but I'm actually trying to craft some badges, just waiting on them boosters to come in.

Ikaruga cards were like $1 a piece when I sold mine off, given the game itself was $10 that basically wound up making it half price.

How do people make so much or get so many cards? My card drops always sell for like 10 to 15 cents and I never seem to get a booster even though I log into steam every day. v_v

Because cards were something I wasn't pay attention to. Just buying and playing games normally I ended up quietly building up a large collection. So I just decided to sell em all. Yeah most of them are going for 5-10 cents but there's quite a few games I'm getting around a quarter per a card.

if you're selling your cards that would explain it, you probably have a level 5 account, you're getting zero boosters with a level 5 account your chance is like .001% or something like that. As you level up your account the chance of getting boosters go up. Even if your account is pretty decently leveled you'll still barely get any boosters, I have level 23 and have gotten maybe 10 booster packs in all.

Also jeez you must have had loads of cards to get that much cash, you would have been better off using those cards as trade bait and getting TF2 keys, then using those TF 2 keys trade for games. The sheer amount you'd have to sell in order to make any useful money is ridiculous. Especially considering most cards only give you .05 back. Sure you have the occasional game that gives you .20 but they are few and far between.

I keep cards of my absolutely favourite games and/or cards that have good artwork. I sell everything else and I managed to earn quite a nice chunk of change to buy games with them. I can't remember every game I've purchased, but some include A Game of Dwarves + DLC, Black Rose for The Pinball Arcade, and a skin pack for Euro Truck Simulator 2.

I sold some cards at first, but now I just complete badges since I've gotten some really nice coupons from them.
