and why is warframe so ill recieved at meta?

some reviews are from earlier builds which have been improved significantly.

Its kinda grindy and can get repetitive which is a valid complaint but doesn't really bother me.

I only played it for a day, but if you die too much, you're pretty much done for the day.

4 revives per day per frame but you don't have to use a revive you can die and if your team finishes you still "win", you can buy more daily revives with platinum (paid currency)

And it seemed like it demands alot of purchases to get anywhere.

Thats the problem with loot based things, one person can get somewhere with some great drops and another person can play for weeks getting terrible drops so they feel like they have to pay to get somewhere. Its pretty easy to get new weapons and warframes without paying if you know the right levels to run. The paid stuff are just shortcuts and aesthetics.

I'm not saying its the greatest game ever... probably rate it 7.5-8/10ish.

Yeah, doesn't matter if it's a retail priced game or F2P, loot games are grindy.

The game doesn't need a different layout than the one it has, much like any real sport.

It has different maps, though generally the same kind of deal with towers, little areas for tough monsters, and the bases themselves. That's not counting all the little obstacles here and there and whatever else I may have missed.

And yes the repetitiveness would show more if it really was one map. But as said before, it's treated as a sport. Looking at basketball, baseball, football, soccer, and so on all have the same "map". People can still have fun even with those sports as video games, though I enjoy a very little selection of them.

It isn't a shooter...the number of maps in a moba don't really matter since the core map is usually the same layout.

Does it make hockey repetitive? Or basketball? or football? The game is balanced around that map.
