EA's a game publisher, Facebook is malware of the societal structure. I don't get the comparison at all

your hate is deep for Facebook. did they kill your family?

And your defense is deep for Facebook. Are they part of your family?

Just shut up. People are entitled to their opinions no matter how crazy or outlandish and nothing you say anonymously online is going to change what someone thinks.

The people who have no understanding of how any form of business works are the ones freaking out here. This was arguably one of the better things that could happen for Oculus, as I'm sure capital is running low as they're getting into the later stages of development. More money = better product = better end-user experience.

Because Facebook cares about giving people a solid product. /s
They also don't know anything about gaming and what people actually want.

Worse. They killed the common sense of a generation or two of internet kids, eroded personal boundaries and concepts like privacy, and coopted half the planet into being little more than crops for data mining.

Guess I won't be trying one after all.

I always expected Oculus to fail, just not like this.

F*@%^#$()*&^@)#$^*(@#$)^*)&

REALLY?

Well, f*** Oculus at this point. Facebook is like cancer to everything it touches - it finds the absolute worst ways it can f*** things up, and then takes it one step farther.

So long Oculus... I barely knew ye.

Yeah, I was actually kinda excited for this product. I'm not certain I would have bought it, but I was definitely open to it and would have liked to try it to see if its something I want.

Now I probably won't touch it. I don't like Facebook or anything they are involved in. I agree its done way more harm to our culture and society than it has good. While it still may be a good product, I worry of what it will ultimately turn into.

Huh. I can honestly say I didn't see this coming
