But if they did, this would be a good one.

Sell outs. I wonder what Carmack thinks? Left ID for Oculus and now works for facebook. What now is right.

Considering this deal was probably being worked on for many months (these types of things don't happen in a week), I'd say he likely left Id because he knew this was coming. Oculus was about to get a massive influx of cash from a giant corporation, what better time to jump on board?

I believe that would be insider trading and illegal.

If it: looks like insider trading, feel like insider trading, sounds like insider trading, then it must be insider trading.

sooo think Facebook could win the worst company of the year award?

Well it beat out DirecTV in the first round (much to my surprise). But it's up against Comcast in the second round

One good thing came out of all of this.... People aren't crying about Steam being down as much anymore... (or maybe they are but their cries are being drowned out by the facebook crap?).

BTW: steam friends is down for me right now (OH S***!)

I think all the negativity and outrage from PC gamers is very hypocritical.

The same people complaining about having Facebook adds/interface/DRM attached to their VR also love Steam for doing the exact same thing to PC games.

This is nothing new, it's the reality of what PC gaming is now, everything on this "open system" is tied to smaller closed systems. This is what you wanted, the digital future is here.
