Maintenance didn't keep me from logging in for over 3 hours, especially when issteamdown said it was up. --- http://myanimelist.net/profile/dragon504 http://followmy.tv/u/dragon504/time_wasted http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y169/dragon_50469/myguns2-1.jpg
I've been logged in constantly so I don't deal with login issues like some have, but the damn thing takes forever to do anything, even just pulling up the store.
Perfect timing though considering I've been playing Minecraft all week. :3
I made the mistake of restarting Steam earlier today. I'm back on now though and it's been fine. --- http://myanimelist.net/profile/dragon504 http://followmy.tv/u/dragon504/time_wasted http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y169/dragon_50469/myguns2-1.jpg
I've had a few very minor issues here and there (once or twice), but other than that it's been fine for me. (I'm in the NE US) --- Asus P8Z68-V LE | Core i7 2600K | 8GB G.Skill Ripjaws DDR3 | Gigabyte GeForce GTX 660 Windforce OC PS3 | PS2 | PSP| Wii | 3DS | DS | X-Box 360 | X-Box | NES

Yes, there's obviously something wrong, and it's been that way for a while.
What really surprises me, is how many people are more angry at the people complaining, than they are at the fact that Steam can't seem to get itself together. Kinda backwards isn't it?
Corporate fanaticism is something I'll never understand.
Yeah, but there are a lot of people that don't actually think Valve is a corporation. They pretend it's some NGO operation that's there for the benevolent benefit of all humanity. Valve is as corporate as EA or any other gaming enterprise. They just mask it better and have a weird corporate structure. --- Yeeaah...Somebody must've killed Darryl. Cuz that's what the guy had said.
It's not just Steam. All of my favourite sites are also suffering from terrible connection issues. GameFAQs often shoots out "server cannot be found" errors, as do many other sites I visit.
I blame the solar flares that have been significantly more potent this month than ever before. Hell, earlier this month there were 5 solar flare eruptions in a row on the same day...coincidentally happening about the same time Titanfall came out. I'm pretty sure 5 solar flare eruptions in one day hasn't ever been recorded before this month. It would certainly explain why the internet has been so frickin' buggy.
