anyone know? ME2 & Steam

so I owned a physical copy of mass effect 2 years ago... whenever it came out on PC.
don't know where it is now, gone somewhere.

but I still have a bunch of the DLCs, according to the bioware site where I can also download them... my question is how to transfer these over to the Mass Effect 2 that I just bought on steam?

Been quite a while but don't you have to login to your bioware account in game and authorize them there them there? Should be instructions somewhere on the bioware site

when I hit the "new content" button IN game, it leads me to the place where I can download all the DLC I own, but how do I get it to work in STEAM? Bioware is all Origin'd out now.

ME2 on Steam used the Bioware points/store for the DLC, so you can easily apply them to the Steam version of the game.

Far as I know there's nothing special about ME2 on steam other than the fact that's where you bought it. should work exactly the same as the retail copy did.

Download the DLC from the Bioware website and install them normally. It's a bit annoying that they aren't integrated in Steam but Bioware has never sold the DLC outside of their website.

Honestly unless you're one of these people with an unnecessary pathological hatred of Origin you'd be better just adding your Steam ME2 key to Origin where the DLC is properly implemented.
