Strategy games a 10-year-old laptop can run?

I'm currently addicted to Dawn of War, which I can run on high settings (slow downs with intense battles but it's playable). Eager for more I tried out Company of Heroes and can't run that decently at all. So, any recommendations for both turn-based and real-time games (preferably both)?

It can't run any games.

Maybe Galactic Civilizations 2? It's a space themed 4X game, and probably one of the best 4X games made.

Won't be able to play on the giant ass maps, but stuff from large on down should be alright. Medium sized maps are still pretty big.

The Legend of Soltar is pretty good.

Oh okay, god dammit. Uninstalling Dawn of War after this match.

How about Crusader Kings? Won't be able to play number 2, but the first one should work alright. Though as the game goes on longer you'll get some slowdown because of how the game handled dead characters. Which if you play for a couple hundred years, there will be thousands of them. Dead and alive. It makes even decent PCs start to run slow.

Another good option. Another top tier 4X game. Alpha Centauri and GalCiv2 easily make the top 5 4X games list.
