Heading home in 30 I'll check. I should definitely try OCing manually right? Assuming everything is seated on my CPU correctly. It has to be though idling at 25-29 then ramps up to 40-50 doing nothing then BAM might be the voltage when going up in clock when it auto OCs?

I'd look around online and see what other people are setting their voltages at and comparing them to what the auto OC sets it at. If there's a big difference then try to set it manually

I'm not sure how those work, but does the h100i use thermal paste to attach itself to the mobo (I would imagine so). If anything, did you apply the paste correctly or are you using a good paste?

Just throwing out possible ideas of common problems.

Well I had a custom PC company do it for me to make sure, I had them install parts for my PC whilst I was away.

And does anyone suggest an easy guide to OC a 4770k? I want to get a bit of gaming done before I go get my shoulder surgery but most of all want to make sure my PC is stable at a decent clock.

Still running prime 95 core 2 and 3 are like 60c and 0 and 1 are 78c and 74c at stock clocks. This seem about righ for a stock 4770k with an H100i?

Would honestly like a 4.4-4.6 clock if possible then I'm all set.. but making sure everything is right at stock.

If it's shooting up to 98-100C the most probable cause would be the heatsink not put on correctly.

The fans spin but they don't really kick on as the temps increase.. not sure if they're supposed to.
