Batman: Arkham Origin $10 Steam sale!

Who else is picking this up? Man I love gaming on PC with all the sales we get. That's a really good price. And if you've already played the game, how is it btw? Is it as good as the last 2? How does it compare to them?

Considered since I like the first two games, but I've heard it isn't as good. The developers are also not planning on fixing the remaining bugs too.

Will probably pick up both Lego Batman games though.

Just saw a couple reviews (IGN and Adam Sessler) and they both say game is still really good, although it does feel a bit too much like the first 2. So I think I'll still enjoy it. I usually hate games that follow the same formula year after year like Assassins Creed and COD so this game might be the one where I get sick of Batman, but hopefully that won't be the case.

If I hadn't already played it on 360 I'd definitely go for it. That game is a steal for $10.

The game is good but on PC there's a few fatlal bugs that corrupt your data. And take a lot of screwing around including updating your drivers.

I was running a very fine and stable NVidia driver and it forced me to upgrade it. 10 hours into the game I got the fatal error again and there's:

1) no current permafix for it and worst of all
2) No plans to patch the bugs in the game

http://www.ign.com/articles/2014/02/10/wb-games-has-no-plans-to-fix-numerous-glitches

http://www.pcgamer.com/2014/02/10/batman-arkham-origins-developers-have-no-plans-for-another-patch-working-on-dlc-instead/

I didn't get to see this till after I experienced it in game first.

it's essentially a broken game that was released and extremely unacceptable.

And honestly it's far too common for them to be allowed to ignore it.

It's the best of the three. People's problem with the game was "it wasn't better enough". It wasn't that much buggier than City, either, and was patched up fairly well.

The real problem with the game is that it wasn't the same development team, so people try not to like it. It's a solid game.
