IIRC, 3D films in their many, many forms have existed in some form since, like, the 1920's. And today, they are still progressing with and trying new technologies. Nearly 100 years later.

If that's a fad, then so is the Automobile. And planes. And computers, the internet, TV, radio, gaming................

Aint nobody gunna buy no half ass VR. That being said......I cant wait. Start up the VR addiction clinics and get ready for a gym membership and mini fridge. You think WOW gamers have problems lol...lol..rotflmfao it won't be anything compared when they get it right and people will pay boku bucks.

People will save a lot of money getting a front row seat at a Football, Basketball or Hockey game.

Hell yeah. As someone who already plays most games in 3D, head tracking is the next logical step.

That being said, with all the new competitors rising up to take Oculus' place in wake of them selling out, I think I'm going to wait to see which device receives the most universal support before picking one up. My 3D projector will hold me off until then.

Are you guys judging 3D just from what you've seen in movies? Because the difference between a 3D movie and a 3D game is night and day. 3D gaming is so much of an improvement, you can't even compare the two.
