Just like the same plug that you would plug your headphones into. Whats the best of those for my price range?

I would snap those up if not for the fact that they appear to need there own power cord. This does look like what I am looking for though.

Boy that design sure has gotten popular lately, has anyone on PC board used something like that before, the amazon reviews is through the roof but the fact that it only is one speaker in that weird bullet style makes me nervous.

My friend has this and it's decent. It gets plenty loud without distorting.

I have one of the same design, different brand. It's not bad for what it is. I don't really use it (no real need to lol) but the sound is decent. If you turn it up too loud the bass gets all blubbery, but what can you expect. It probably sounds a lot better than any truly passive PC speakers you'll find... like these sexy babies: http://www.amazon.com/Sony-Compact-Travel-Speaker-Players/dp/B000PGAX9W/ lol
