What do you mean, by "sturdy"?

Gaming laptops are not sturdy in the sense that they are suitable for being carried around (even when size and weight allow), because they are made of simple plastic or aluminum with no reinforcement. If you want to lug a laptop that can play games around in a backpack and handle it roughly, you'll need to triple your budget.

You can't game on a laptop, let alone play games at mid-high settings oni t.

whats with all these laptop threads where people ask for things that are impossible?

Lenovo y510p. If you can spend a bit more, look at Asus or MSI. Don't listen to Pharoah. There are plenty of laptops capable of gaming with respectable settings for that price.

This isn't true at all. I'm always throwing my laptop into my backpack for work, and it's a bulky 17" sager made of plastic.

Yeah, I have the MSI Stealth and its the sturdiest laptop I've ever used. I've had some decent HP's and Toshibas over the years, but this one is definitely better to carry with.

How is the MSI stealth? worth it? Should I go for the pro?
