I'm waiting for IGN's review. I grew up with it so they're the only reviewers I trust. - HappyUnicorn101

From your posts, I take it that you need a game that is:

1. fun enough for you to sink a lot of time in.
2. complicated enough for you to spend your brain power thinking of the mechanics instead of your ex
3. free to play after the initial purchase

These are the games I can think of:

1. Phantasy Star Online 2. There's a little hurdle to it, but the guides are on the Net. It's free-to-play MMO with a lot of things to get even if you don't wanna pay ****
2. Battlefield 4, specifically the multiplayer component. You'll be occupied all day err day once you break the ice.
3. Guild Wars 2 gives you access to ALL important content only by paying once.

The reason why I recommend multiplayer games to you is that based on my own experience breaking up, we actually need outside support while dealing with it. One of the emotions we tend to get drown into during these times is of worthlessness; feeling incapable and meaningless about your existence in other people's lives. Since you chose games to distract your mind, I think it is in your best interest to regain your self-worth by trying to join a new community, filled with people with interests similar to yours. Observe how to fit in, try to help them any time you can, and keep that urge to talk and act like an a-hole. When you start making friends and notice that they depend on you in one way or another, you will learn to appreciate yourself again and find better opportunities and people in life.

Make sure to have this music playing at all times, though.
