Believe it or not, the KSC75 are great headphones even for gaming. They are crisp, clear, and have a nice midbass to them. I use them more than my HD555.

Basically, yah. Just different headband design. Go with the SR850 IMO.

If you don't mind IEM's, the Monoprice 8320 (http://www.amazon.com/dp/B007VEQ2UU/) is probably the best bang/buck set you can get (check out Head-Fi if you don't believe me). Only issues are getting it to fit comfortably for long periods of time as well as the cable being a little tangle-prone.
