An hour. I restart the computer on a regular basis just to wipe the RAM. Usually because Windows tend to get too comfortable with using random space. I usually have 30~% used in a cold boot and stays that way for a few hours. A few hours later that number rises to 42% idle. I know windows will give up RAM if I run something that needs it but I dislike the fact it's even taking up extra for no ****ing reason.

Basically, Windows is using your free RAM to preload what it thinks you're going to use. You don't need to worry about keeping your RAM clear (and you should be able to disable it if need be.)

*Turn Evil can now be cast on players. When used, it applies a small goatee and causes them to explain their diabolical plans while steepling their fingers.

I pretty much leave my PC on 24/7. I'm always on it during the day, and I can't sleep in silence, so I leave it on, playing music while I sleep.

I only turn it off when I have to for updates or w/e, or when I won't be home for a few hours (which is almost never, lol).

...Is this bad?

Mines off but I use a laptop and switch it off whenever I won't use it for more than an hour(unless I'm downloading stuff).
I do leave it on for extended periods if I'm going on it in small bursts just to save on some of the startup/shutdown wear.
