Square Enix Is Bringing Final Fantasy III To PC

#71TheOppositePosted 4/18/2014 12:03:14 PM
I just want the original game translated into English and released on Steam, not the DS/PSP version. Also I want the original versions of Final Fantasy I, II, IV, V, VI and IX on Steam. I'm not a fan of remakes of games that don't need remaking.

I have no comment on the game itself, but that is one of the worst names ever.

And what of those did FF1 not do far worse? Or FF2, for that matter?

FF1 did not require any grinding.

Neither did FF3.

I can explain to someone with no knowledge of upcoming events of the game, with a single independent clause, how to not grind at all in FF1.

Can you do anything nearly as efficient for FF3?

Easily.
"don't grind". Bam, done.

And then you never beat the game because you continually die. If you want to actually get through the game you WILL grind.

I think anyone discussing FF3 needs to specify if they mean the NES version or the DS version. They are different games in my book, and certainly have different XP curves.

And FF3 DS is significantly more grindy than FF3 Famicom. I've played both.

Do they even make new stuff anymore? Oh goodie a 3mb rom that its mega ultra fully capability with any emulator now comes with 100mb of drm and its very on launcher and installation. Great. Must have.

Newsflash its been on pc 4 ever. Port something newer or throw some english on something japanese only if you must. Even better make a new game!

Or you could just stop sucking so bad. FF3 isn't even a hard game.

Watch out guys, we're dealing with a badass over here.

Difficulty is subject to the classes you use. Without a guide, you're basically guaranteed to grind at some point.

This is good news but.....

Give me FFX/2 HD and KH HD 1.5/2.5!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You can pretty much get that by using a PS2 emulator.

Running PS2 games on PCSX2 is great if you boost the resolution.

Kingdom Hearts and FFX/ X-2 work great on it.

Yeah but I would rather have a native port with the HD HUD and text, etc.
