I'm driving to Worst Buy to pick it up now. Just thought I'd ask, as it is fairly new.

I want to try one out myself, other than that I don't know about it too much.

Fair enough, going in now. I'm guessing someone will point out a fatal flaw of some sort within 2 hours of purchase.

Want to play FPS games? Don't get it. The sensor isn't as good as something like the g400s.

Thanks for the input, though I made a thread yesterday in which someone suggested that you have a curious opinion on this subject.

What do you mean it "seems" horrible? Based on what.

Anyway, I just got it. I'm loving almost everything about it, except that I can't figure out the DPI shift buttons. On my G500 they were these 2 near the front by default, and that doesn't seem to be the case here. That said, tracking seems amazing. Especially loving the surface detection.

I'm just wondering how they made a laser sensor with no acceleration/prediction so they say.

Other than that I think it looks butt ugly.

I actually did some decent research on the g502, and so far it's getting great reviews. It's optical so that's a plus, and it should be better than any laser sensor out there. I didn't know it was optical the first time I posted.
