otherwise if you're just at home buy a pc

Don't listen to others who laugh at those who get gaming laptops. Your not gonna much help from those people anyway.

My only suggestion is to take your time and compare each one and look for the deals.

I was a crossroads between my Alienware and a asus but I ended up getting a better deal on the Alienware due to specials.

I understand the need for gaming laptops as I have to travel and sometimes take my laptop with me to college. I went with a 14in because I like smaller screens more. And if I ever want a bigger screen for at home, then I'll buy a monitor.

Cheers.

Nobody laughs at people getting gaming laptops. We laugh at people who want to get gaming laptops, because they don't exist.

My GAMING laptop plays games almost as good as my desktop, i would build a desktop and get a laptop with the new maxwell 860m.

You can play games on a laptop. an 880m for absolutely sure.

I laugh at you, because you know next to nothing, and are stubborn as hell.

Fair enough. Then this person wants a computer that is portable. Has a more powerful processor than what the average user needs, has plenty of ram for mulitasking and programs, plenty of vents for keeping it cool. Oh and a gpu that is much more powerful than expected in anything portable and that can also play games and will last a good 2-4 years before it even needs to be replaced.

So in other words, a high end laptop.

Do you want an ultraportable gaming laptop or a desktop replacement gaming laptop? If you want an ultraportable then the Razer Blade 14 2014 edition is the best you can get. If you want a desktop replacement gaming laptop then I heard the Asus G750JZ is decent.
