I know i need a new GPU, was looking to get this

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814487007

I really want the card, but not sure if its worth it at that price...I mean the more FPS the better i believe, if it can last me a good 2-3 years, im considering it.

Need a sound card, since my motherboard audio inputs broke. Was looking at this one.

I think thats all for now, any ideas?

If you've got the cash to drop then that video card is one of the best you can get. That sound card should be fine. As for the hard drive if you need some extra storage I would go with Western Digital instead:

His PC is fine to upgrade. The next thing he would want to upgrade is the CPU and possibly a little more RAM eventually.

Get a monitor or a better tv. Vizio tend to have a lot of input lag and look awful

Those upgrades sound good to me, TC. You could skimp a bit on the card since you're only playing at 1920x1080. If you want the best single GPU, though, you can't really beat the 780 Ti. Also, that HDD is a little cheaper on Amazon, currently.

Do you live near a microcenter?
You could get a 4770k, motherboard, 780 and possibly an SSD for $900.

Actually, The model i have has a "game mode" that reduces input lag, i believe to 4ms, or 2...i forgot. Its probably 4ms. Either way i notice no input lag whatsoever when i play on Game Mode.

Thanks for the reassuring on my choices guys! The only thing im still iffy about is obviously the GPU since thats a lot of money to drop on one.

I'd go with a 780 personally, especially if you're gaming on your tv. I won't say don't get a 780ti if you want one, I'll just say I wouldn't get one for 1080.
