Is there a Vsync option, it could be rendering 500 or so frames a second or something daft like that.

Force Vsync, it will lower the amount of frames to be rendered.

If you let the graphic card render freely, it will obviously run hot whatever the game you are running unless you limit the framerate.

get a better card and the load will be lower

Ignore it, what's wrong with 90% usage? It's not going to wear out....

The card is designed to run at 100%. Otherwise whats the point of buying a card if you cant run it as intended?

If your worried about the card breaking due to being pushed to hard, it wont break cause thats what its made for lol. And if does break cause its defective or something then be happy cause youll get a replacement that hopefully is not.

You guys saying stuff like get a better card and whatever else are kinda dumb. The game should not be using that much if anything at all. My HTPC with an unlocked Sempron 145 and a 5570 runs the game fine at a constant 30FPS (the cap), so the game using 90% of a 660Ti is anything but normal. Sadly I have no idea why it does that, sorry TC.

its because its a game that uses very little cpu. this means frame rendering is gpu bound.

meaning the game is probably running close 200 fps or higher. so to limit to 60fps turn on vsync.

this is actually true for most games. its just that more graphics intensive games wont stabilize at such a high framerate.
