They have a traditional Summer sale. You're a bit early.

Not really. They have a relatively big autumn sale but any spring sales they have aren't especially notable.

Their spring and fall sales are a bit smaller and less regular - there's less guarantee they'll happen at all. Summer and winter are the two big ones you can count on. They might still do something this spring, but no guarantees...

I googled it and something came up suggesting that the steam spring sale was pushed back to the end of April so maybe it'll still happen.

Either way, the sales for me have always been "Winter > Summer > Fall > Spring" in order of high value to low... Whatever they put on sale for the spring sale, it probably won't be much of anything I'm interested in, though I guess if I was new to steam I could still potentially find some good deals.

You might also want to use a site like http://www.isthereanydeal.com since that will keep you informed on ALL the good deals, sale or no. It also has a wishlist import feature that will inform you if something goes on sale elsewhere (where steam is only going to tell you if it goes on sale on steam).
