Was wondering if it actually makes a difference. If it does it could be useful for general browsing, but I don't know if I would want color changes while playing a game. Does it affect programs and games also?

No. Nobody uses it at all. It has 0 users and the company is going out of business tomorrow.

Calibrated correctly it can reduce eyestrain some, and you can turn it on and off as you see fit. While it's on though it does affect the colors on your entire screen
More and more, it feels like I'm doing a really bad impersonation of myself.

why would anyone use such a stupid program?

Essentially it annoys me too much and I turned it off more than I used it because it bugged me in games/videos/etc.

I tried it out but I have a light on at night anyway, so all it did was make my screen dark and red at night.

I used it for a while because it promised benefits such as being able to sleep better at night and some other bull s***. I gave it two weeks, I noticed no difference in my sleeping patterns and in fact it just annoyed me to use it. I removed it from my computer and haven't used it since.

So yeah, I don't think it reduced anything for me other than my willingness to use it.

I notice less eyestrain while using it. My abnormal sleep pattern isn't something that an orange filter isn't going to fix so I didn't expect anything there

I've tried F.lux but I hated how it messed with color settings and had zero user control. I grabbed a cheap pair of Gunnars from a Woot sale and I had a much better experience.

I noticed relief with eye strain, and I also noticed myself falling a sleep faster. I tried using a computer right before going to bed while wearing and not wearing the glasses for the night. I noticed that I laid awake longer when I didn't wear them.

I ended up getting a prescription pair of glasses, that I had tinted a very dark yellow. They work the same as the Gunnars and don't require me to wear contacts late at night.

If you want to see if these effect you, go to a sporting goods store and get a pair of shooting glasses. They are yellow and will work the same way. They should be $10-20 so they are a cheap way to see if they work for you.
