how's this pc for gaming?

Looking at getting a new prebuilt. For gaming/general use, I'm clueless on the hardware front. How is this? My previous pc had a duo, and integrated graphics... but this has a dedicated. I'm not thinking of running watchdogs on hyper settings, but more medium to high on skyrim. Can this do that? Or any other suggestions?

never ever buy prebuilt computers, especially budget ones like those. Think about it, they have to make money, so you're getting less then 300 dollars in parts, That and I can't actually see whats inside, but never buy prebuilt

Building one is kind of out of the question right now, but is getting one custom built a good idea? Any suggestion on parts?

Second best option, yeah. But you could watch a half an hour youtube tutorial and put one together yourself to save some money.

If you're going really low budget, get a GT 750ti for GPU and an i5 processor. You could get someone to build a decent rig with those for around $650 plus whatever he/she charges to put it together for you.

Any specific i5? I hear they vary plenty

I am still running a 2550k. I'm not completely sure which models are best now. But as check out what they cost around your pricerange, and use google to find a chart that compares them with benchmarks.
