#1pipebomb__sushiPosted 4/26/2014 10:48:13 AM
I want to download a game off games for windows on a laptop (internet is faster) but can I back it up and put it on the computer I actually want to play it on? Like steam backups.

Nobody here is going to know the answer and the board's "Expert" on GFWL only shows up to troll topics about steam.

I would imagine you could do it, but I've never used GFWL more than I was forced to use it.

as long as you can input a game key, you won't have a problem playing a copied game.

Okay, I figured out how after doing a google search. All the files were .cab and I had to extract them. Pretty simple.

Wonder what MS will do after they shut down GFWL this june. I think they should just port their games to Steam. They own the Gears IP now so it shouldn't be a problem.
