The best way you could go is to find someone outside the net, a best buddy or similar, and ask them to download what you want to see. Then, have them send you the files masked and be happy.

You cant hide anything while you're using military equipment and especially over their internet. You're best off getting a cellphone.

I didn't know the military cared if you looked at boobs...?

This. They sell porn in the PXs too.

Given that the US military still boots out proven and/or self-declared homosexuals I don't believe that they'd find what they want in terms of porn on a PX/BX and would probably want to sanitize or hide their browsing habits on shared internet.

This. I'm also shocked at how many people in this topic know **** all about the military.

Most people think this is a government connection. No, not at all, unless TC is trying to look up porn at work. TC, if that's actually the case, bad private, no. Government computers are locked down pretty tight. Users can't do much aside from open up outlook and office documents, and the firewall blocks anything that isn't work related (eg gaming websites, porn, blogs, etc).

When I was in the military, all of 10 years ago, the "external" computers weren't locked down all that tightly. Surfing GameFAQs and playing MUDs was by no means out of the question. Granted I never tried looking up porn, but then again I never felt the need to while I was on duty. Heck, the machines were so not locked down that one of the jobs I had was writing up some software to report modifications to the file structure compared to a list from a "clean" ghost.

Mind you I say "external" as in "had internet access." We had an entirely separate network with, IIRC, no internet access for the the more sensitive work.

Even on a military base the internet is through a public ISP.
The NSA is watching what you watch, not the military. lol

You really should have saved all your smut to your harddrive. You wouldn't have this problem then.

You're behind the times. DADT was repealed in 2011. The US military even has to afford the same privileges to same-sex spouses that they do to hetero spouses as of last year.
