How many of you have abandoned consoles?

As long as Nintendo and console only JRPGs exist I'll never ditch consoles. Love my PC though.

I use my ps4 sometimes actually. But it's used mostly for FFXIV for when I just feel like giving my console some love.

If a console came out that offered something really unique and/or cool and it was more than just one game, then yes, I'd buy it. The last console I bought was the PS2 in 2002 and between 2004 and 2008 I built a decent PC and was able to play better games, so anything on the console didn't really appeal enough to me.

I think the game industry in general is going in the wrong direction so I don't anticipate any "must have" games on Consoles for me. The only thing i'm looking forward to right now are the kickstarter games (Wasteland 2, Elite Dangerous, Star Citizen, Project Eternity, etc).

Too many good games on consoles to abandon them, though I've definitely played less since getting a gaming PC. I don't have any plans to get a PS4 or X1, but that could change in a couple years.

I rarely play my console games, instead preferring to play the games I have on my PC.

Currently saving up for a good gaming PC, no plans on getting a PS4 or Xbox One.

Not me. Bought a PS3 about a year ago and have been catching up on stuff I missed and some old remakes. I'll probably end up doing the same with a PS4. I have zero interest in owning a Microsoft console, but will probably borrow someone's Xbox at some point to play Tales of Vesperia. A Wii U will be snatched up on sale at some point.

I play on consoles, pc, handhelds, tablets, phones. I'm a gamer, not a fanboy. I go where the good games are regardless of the platform. My life isn't long enough to limit myself by being dedicated to one platform.

True enough, but my wallet isn't deep enough to spread across all platforms. I'd much rather stick to one or MAYBE two platforms, for financial reasons. I'm not rich. Even if I were, there are other things that my money should be used for.

It is the end times for console gaming. All hail PC and 3DS.

I have a PS4, but I literally have 0 games for it, until next week at least when MLB 14 comes out. I will buy games for it, but there are probably only like 5 games through its life cycle that I care about.

I play the retro consoles far, far more than the new ones. I have an NES/SNES/N64/Gamecube/PS2/Genesis hooked up in its own room and I absolutely love playing on those systems.

And yes I'm fully aware of emulators....the systems are better. By a long shot.
