How the hell do people stream so much when the highest data cap is 250GB?

Leaving Twitch on for a few days will easily chew through a 250GB datacap.

I went over Charter's 250GB datacap by over 700+GB leaving AGDQ 2014 on the entire steam.

Charter Security called me about that, but I told them I was too busy donating to the Prevent Cancer Foundation to care.

I always choose medium-low when watching other streams?

I dont have a data cap.

My only limit is my dl speed, 500-600kb/s, around 2Gb per hour.

I have a 250gb data "cap" (I'm not charged if I go over, I just get a notice telling me I did) and 5 people in the house who use things like Netflix, Hulu, Twitch, YouTube, etc and I've received a notice that I've went over 250gb twice in my life. And both of those months I wasn't surprised by it because I downloaded a pretty heavy amount of my games from Steam.

I'd recommend doing, you know....things other than constantly watching streaming content. There are plenty of things to do outside of that.

In the US non-mobile data caps are merely a suggestion. I go way over my 60GB cap every month and haven't heard a peep from my ISP about it, not even an angry email.

Wow sinister your ISP monitors your traffic?! Jesus that is bad. Its illegal here. Sure they log but only for the police. And nobody in law enforcement gives a F about people running a P2P client.

They may be a suggestion for you. I assure you there are ISPs here who enforce it.

They probably called to ask if he was torrenting, being as they didn't know that he wasn't.
