Why is this not a good gaming PC?

It will run them fine on medium to high, it's just overpriced.

No SSD to make them load nearly instantly. Other than that the PC you linked would likely max every one of those games at 1080p.

i7 4770S (3.1 - 3.9 Ghz) = Great

gtx 760 = OK (still room to improve but could definitely be worse)

12Gb of RAM = Good - can upgrade to 16Gb RAM. I'd want to know the speed (1333Mhz or 1600Mhz)?

No SSD though (expandable? I do not know - probably...)

---

Slap a gtx 770 or 780 in it and an SSD and call it a day.

---

You won't have much problems with single monitor gaming @ 1080p.

i7 4770k @ 4.4 Ghz, Z87 Sabertooth, gtx 780 x2, 32 Gb RAM @ 1833Mhz, 500Gb 840-EVO, 1TB HDD, Corsair RM1000 & H100i, Cooler Master HAFX

Its a little overpriced, but you basically max most games out there at 1080p 60fps.

It's not bad, but you could get more for less.

There is nothing wrong with that PC, TC. The price is fine. If you consider your own time to assemble a bunch of parts and to stew over a part picking website as somewhat valuable, you should just buy it and be happy.
