So Turtle Rock just fired their community manager over a tweet...

Not that I don't think it's pretty stupid to fire someone over what equates to "people can say what they want in the privacy of their own homes", it's equally stupid to say something like that in his position.
Remember to hug you're waifu.

They wanted to protect their reputation I guess. Racism is a very sensitive topic. That being said, this thread would probably be closed

All popular games are overrated and all nonpopular ones are underrated.... logic...sigh~

Anybody who defends Donald Sterling belongs in prison. I hope Turtle Rock does the right thing and hires a disabled black transgender woman who doesn't speak English as his replacement.

Considering Sterling's bigotry was most certainly not being confined to "the security of his own home", he doesn't really have a point.

And just because speech is free of legal consequences does not imply is it free of other (namely societal) consequences. This is not a difficult concept to understand. Society no longer wants or is willing to tolerate that kind of person in a position of power, regardless of their capacity to, say, earn profits. Refuse to adapt at your own peril.

Absolutely disgusting.

Looks like another studio to add to my s***list of companies to boycott.

I hope they go bankrupt.

Oh look, controversy right before their new game releases.

Life is normally too short to purposely seek out things you hate, but apparently that rule doesn't apply on the Xbox One board.

I agree with everything he said; but prolly wouldn't say it in a position like his. Gotta wonder if that's the problem in situations like this, because most prolly would do the same.
I doubt Heaven has Twitter. Hell probably does though...
