I don't really visit websites that have those kind of ads, they are shady and usually for piracy and illegal file sharing.

Oh, you mean like The Pirate Bay, which you were praising in your first post?
That is not dead which can eternal lie,
And with strange aeons even death may die.

I happily use adblock and don't have a single site on my whitelist, if a site has to shut down due to lack of revenue then there will be two more new sites just like it next week. I don't get attached to websites, if gamefaqs shuts down tomorrow then I will just go somewhere else and start over again it's not a big deal at all.

Its been so long since I haven't used adblock that it honestly amazes me when I do some browsing on something without it. Its like woah this is the real internet?

Whatever floats your boat. Have fun with viruses, spyware, people tracking you, and intrusive advertising.

TPB is the only site I ad-block, and I have a site downloader constantly going to eat up their bandwidth. Pirates can kiss my butt.

Its really inconsistent as a whole and thats why I block ads.

Go to cheat code central. Its filled with ads. If I'm not mistaken, the owner of a site signs off on who gets ad space and what its for. So if I'm on cheat code central (a gaming site) why would I want to buy jellybeans that grow in Asia? Why do I see an ad for retirement portfolios? The one ad that is related to games is either not there or is the smallest one.

Ads in general have never really gotten on my nerves, but I've noticed more sites (even gamefaqs) using ads that start to play a sound and I have to say that annoys me quite a bit.
