Think my motherboard could support this RAM?

I'm asking because this store near me is having a great deal on this RAM but I looked up my mobo's specs and I'm not sure if it'll support it. What do you guys think?

The mobo specs says it only supports up to 2200Mhz (OC) tho. Won't that be a problem? I wasn't even planning on getting such fast RAM (I currently have 1600Mhz and it's fine) but this is a really great deal so hey, if it's compatible why not

Are you going to be upgrading your amount of ram or just the speed? If you're doing it for the speed it's a waste of money as it won't really have any impact on your system outside of ram benchmarks.

As for the speed, if your motherboard isn't compatible with the speed it will downclock them until it works.

I'm upgrading from 4GB to 8GB. I was looking at 1600Mhz kits then I came across this one for pretty much the same money

If you underclock the RAM and tighten up the timings, then you won't have any problems.
