I hate it when single player RPGs have an MMO style interface and quest objectives. I have stopped enjoying picking up "12 berries of the sage" to make a potion for my friend. How is that fun.

I guess it depends on whether the gameworld is interesting to just run around in or not. A lot of people seem to tolerate, say, Morrowind's endless and uninspired fetch quests for that very reason. I am not one of them, but I can understand it. Hell, I've spent countless hours running around doing nothing in Ultima Online just because I find the world so fascinating.

Oh, and goddamn.
