One thing that I wonder TC: by "playing from a floppy", did you mean REALLY played from a floppy? Or games that came on floppy, but had to be installed? 'Cause if its the former, that excludes almost every game mentioned on this thread.

The last game I played FROM a floppy was the Amiga version of Fantastic Dizzy.

But the last game that came on floppies (but had to be installed, and played from the HD) was Day of the Tentacle. Soon after, I sold it, and bought the CD version, which has voices in the entire game. :)

Actually played from the floppy or was installed from a floppy? Played would be demon attack on my old Tandy.

Installed from a floppy would be Doom. Though that is a grey area because I use Doomsday to run it on Windows 7 but the WAD file that it uses was installed from the floppy many years ago.

Quest for Glory 4 maybe, I know that was one of the games that came on an ungodly number of floppies right around the time CD's were starting to takeover.
