Dungeon Siege 1 question

#1Jack Talk ThaiPosted 5/8/2014 6:23:04 PM
Once I beat the single player campaign, can I continue on with the same character, re-playing the campaign in a higher difficulty? The posts I've found on ancient threads seem to suggest that the game 'ends' when the final boss is defeated and I'd have to start a new character and begin again.

I can't believe someone actually wants to play through that crap twice.

You can spend $400 on a console and $400 on a cheap PC, or you can spend $800 to build your own and have the best of both worlds.

As far as I know, you can't start over on a higher difficulty. The best you can do is import your character into Multiplayer and go through the Kingdom of Ehb map again, but you'll be alone with no allies ever. At least the game'll scale the monsters back, but it'll be a bit dangerous and you'll have to carry everything.

At least that's what I remember.

I can't believe that someone would accuse Dungeon Siege of being crap when it's usually Dungeon Siege 3 that gets that label.

Also, I can't believe it's not peanut butter.

This game has not aged well and multiplayer is disabled if you get the steam version. Also, the ending is cut off so you have to watch it on youtube or something to see it but you are not missing much. You are better off playing PoE, Diablo 3, etc. unless you really have a craving to play a DS game. Honestly, this game is worth playing for the nostalgia factor and nothing more.
