My fiance has a slow computer how can I help him fix it? He wants me to fix it.

I can't afford to go to a computer repair shop so is there a way to like put it on factory settings or something?

I think someone may have hacked him.

I was advised to come here from Zeth at Current Events message board on gamefaqs.

I guess it would be possible to restore it to factory settings. Just make sure to backup pictures and all that jazz, do you know what version of Windows it's running I only know how to restore on Windows 8 otherwise you would probably have to google how to restore other versions of Windows cause I don't know how.

Backup everything you need to save and format the whole thing.

Also, it would be a virus, not a hacker. He spends too much time on shady porn sites.

Your fiance is a man. And he expects a woman who has no knowledge of computers to fix it?

Honey, you need to reassess this relationship. Do you really want to be with a guy who can't do something like learn and fix it himself? It's going to be a drain on you for the rest of your life helping out your manbaby husband.

Oh come on gender roles really now lol

He actually doesn't do porn which is why it has to be a hacker.

If I get rid of his access he won't be able to come in anymore and slow down his computer.

when you first boot up the computer, you will see a bunch of options at the bottom of the screen. it will be one of the F keys. You gotta be quick though, hit the correct F keys and just follow the step to restore the pc back to factory settings.

If its an older pc, you might need the restore discs that came with it.

Oh nice thanks, I'll let you know how this goes after I pick it up from his house and get back to mine.

No sweetheart, he's absolutely 100% lying to you. Every single man on the planet does porn. He told you it's a hacker and you're naive enough to think your fiance is important enough to be the victim of a targeted attack. I realize I'm a random person in a random place but think back to this message when things fall apart. I'm sorry.

With all due respect, I think I know him a little bit better than you do.

And that's fine, but I'm a guy, and I've said guy things like he has and every single time, I was lying.
