Can you dudes give me good builds?

You do know what site you're on, right? There's a prominent "Search GameFAQs" bar at the top of your screen, and I'm sure there's at least one Sacred 2 FAQ on here.

Love the genre, could not get into Sacred 2. Managed about 2 hours tops between 3 different characters.

Love it, but I admit I'm a sucker for Diablo clones.

The game is fun I think, I used to play it a lot a few years ago.
I think the closed server is no longer available but you can still do peer to peer multiplayer and lan.
Lots of quests and a huge vibrant world.

it's fun to play just what ever you want and experiment but here's a good Dual wield Seraphim build

Skills:
Dual wield
Exalted Warrior focus
a bit of Tactics lore and armor lore
it's optional but I put many points in Enhanced Perception as well.
Attributes:
Lots of Vitality as i played a Hardcore character

Active skills i put many runes into
Dashing Alacrity with Sprint, Delay and Impatience modifiers

A couple runes in
Pelting Strike with mods: Succession, Focus and Precision. This is the main damage dealer.

A couple runes in
Battle Stance (buff) with mods: Premonition, Drill and Retaliation

You don't have mana in this game, instead for each rune you scribe the cool down increases
These are Exalted Warrior skills so you offset that by spending points in Exalted Warrior Focus.

Battle Stance is really powerful at high skill level but adds a lot of cool down to your skills so the way around this is to have a secondary set of gear with + to Battle stance in them by either item bonus or from socketing Runes, equip the set and activate the buff then switch to your regular gear
By doing this you get the benefit of a high level buff but without the cool down penalty

If i recall this works well for any active skill, its more beneficial to have them in your gear then scribing them. There's also an item modifier that reduces cool down with each hit you do and I suppose one could make a powerful build around that too but this character is pre expansion :o

This character can run fast with Dashing Alacrity, deals a lot of damage fast and has really good defense thanks to battle stance. I think there's only a couple bugged reflective damage monsters in the expansion area that poses a real threat.

So I should just go along with the game and not go look at guides for builds? If I do this would the game be too hard later on?

Best tips I can give you: Don't just equip every single piece of new armor you get. Check its regeneration penalty. This determines skill cooldowns.

Eating runes gives you new skills. Eating more runes of the same type makes those skills stronger, but drastically increases cooldown time. The key to Sacred 2 is balance.
