What order should I play the Deus Ex games in?

The first one is still great, a couple visual enhancement mods are nice but anyone saying that you NEED mods to enjoy the game is so full of turd it's not even funny. The game hasn't aged the most gracefully but it doesn't need mods, you just need to get used to how it plays and looks.

If you're dead set on playing them all you should play the worst ones first, Invisible War and The Fall. But imo you should just skip those two and start with the original, and then the newest one, Human Revolution.

Don't play the first one unless you mod the ever living **** out of it.
It need visual, UI and inventory mods to become playable.

Nope. It doesn't need any mods whatsoever to be playable my dear peon.

There's no reason not to use at least Kentie's launcher and DX10 renderer just for the widescreen/GUI support.

I personally hate the green hue on all the walls if you play the original without mods. Graphics from that era don't bother me, but that ugly green drives me nuts.
