Star-Craft 2 was designed for a 2-core CPU, and a 500 or 600 series GPU if I remember.

Make sure your power supply is adequate for anything you decide to buy. The 750 and 750TI perform well for the power consumed, but cost more than your budget.

Check any card you are interested in on this list before buying for a general idea of expected performance:,3107-7.html

I remember seeing a used 4870 cards on Ebay a few weeks back for ~$35 but they might have sold out by now. They also use plenty of power.
