Also just did a double-take... where did you guys see it for 47.99? It's 53.99 for me and I'm in the US.

It's $48 if you own both 1 & 2 on gog. $51 if you own one of them.

Can't you order it on Steam and then take the activation key to GOG and activate it there as well for a DRM free copy with the extras?

Only beta males would to that to screw over the best game company ever out of more money that they deserve

I haven't pre ordered a game in ages. Now days I wait for the game to come out and see if it's really worth my money. I can live without the pre order bonuses that just feel out of place most of the time anyway.

So you save $6 if you own both Witcher 1 and 2... which was the combined price for two games during a recent sale on Steam.

I sense a conspiracy of the least dastardly kind.

I'd really like to support cd projekt directly, but waiting for a Steam preorder. Sorry anti drm/gog fans, but I want my games and more importantly my trilogy in one place.

i dont get why people say this. you are aware you can choose to install the game in steam/steamapps/common. you then open steam, click add non steam game and browse to the directory of the exe. you will have all your games installed in 1 folder and will be able to launch them from steam. its really not that hard.

Because that functionality
1) is tied to a single computer (or rather needs to be set up for each computer)
2) often breaks with updates and requires re adding the games
3) Is an additional step when it comes to redownloading
4) doesn't allow for quick verification of the files for modding and corruption purposes
5) Doesn't offer other steam features that a steam copy might (achievements, cloud saves etc).

I think you should just purchase Witcher 3 period. Support CD Project Red and help them continue making good games.
