True "hardcore gamers" own every platform that plays games. That is the true master race if any. Consoles saved gaming, consoles are preserving gaming.

I have Xbox 360 and PS3 and an Alienware 14 laptop. I had my systems long before my laptop and I plan on getting PS4 and Xbox One at some point in time.

I love my PC but there are just games that I have to have that aren't on PC (I.E. Forza Horizon 2, which I know is coming for 360 but I'm sure it will look much better on the One).

I find the notion of having to own multiple platforms absurd. It's like being in a world where different brands of TVs play different shows. The reasons for it made sense once; they don't any more.

I play both PC and Console, I don't have any particular favourites over the two. Although I tend to go for PC when I want play something more casual.

I appreciate both as it really depends on the game I'm playing. Strategy, fps and some RPGs I prefer on the PC while others are best on console. Any more though consols are just PC's with proprietary software.

I don't own any of the current consoles, but I appreciate them. It's just not worth the expense for the few exclusives I'm interested in.

No, I don't

That's not to say I don't have them, I've had at least two per gen since snes/gen... just hate having to get them to play certain games, and having them be stuck in a static status, either already under spec(fable 2, dragon's dogma), or eventually being so, requiring stupid stuff like hd versions announced not even a year later (sup last of us and beyond). I just appreciate the games, I don't care for the console itself.

Unfortunately barring a company closure, 1st party exclusives will always exist, but I hope more 3rd party games continue the trend of coming to pc, maybe some 1st/2nd; MS and Sony both have games on pc as well as their consoles, why not?

I just played some SNES with my 3 year old nephew earlier so I'd say I appreciate a console. I always keep it hooked up even if the picture quality is fuzzy at times.
